Complexe Scolaire Lumière Delft is a high school located in Rumonge which is in the west of the country near Lake Tanganyika. Founded in 2009 by the Association de la Jeunesse en Mission pour la Paix et le Développement (AJMPD) (www.ajmpd.org/education/), the school initially aimed to help repatriated students from anglophonic countries (returning to Burundi after the Burundian Civil War) catch up with their education in Burundi, particularly in their French and Kirundi language skills which are required to participate in the Burndian education system.
As at 2024, the school has assisted over 600 repatriated kids and offers students who graduate with either a High Vocational School Diploma or an A2 level diploma. Students have the option of one of three elective educational streams: Information Technology (Hardware), Information Technology (Software), and Social Sciences.
